CF Signature DWB Flugelhorn Mouthpiece

Description

The CF DWB Flugelhorn mouthpiece has a flat wide rim with a soft bite.  This mouthpiece has a slightly less drastic alpha angle than the other mouthpieces in the line. The cup is a V cup that derived from a french horn mouthpiece to optimize the biggest, darkest, thickest true flugelhorn sound. The rim is consistent with all of the other mouthpieces in the CF Signature Series line.

Even though this is a flugelhorn mouthpiece, it still plays in the upper register with ease. The intonation remains consistent through the entire range of the scale, unlike many conventional flugelhorn mouthpieces that play flat. We believe that Gary’s math on this mouthpiece makes it the most consistent, darkest, thickest flugelhorn mouthpiece on the market.
