CF Signature JRII Mouthpiece

Description

GR continually teaches that the best setup for a person is a combination of the player, the mouthpiece and the horn. The “JRII” (originally the JRW) was developed by Carl and Gary Radtke during the process of an equipment change for Carl who was moving from playing a custom Yamaha to his Warburton CF Horn. The JRII is a slight alteration to the existing Jazz RockStar, opening up the bottom of the cup slightly, but keeping the same flat-wide non-injuring rim, high alpha angle and backbore (#3).

The JRII is great for those who like the Signature FischLips, but want a more full sound with great playing ease. It is also a nice blend of the existing Signature Jazz and Signature FischLips mouthpieces and would be recommended for someone who is having difficulty deciding between models. It still has a big sound and has the capability of filling stadiums and arenas.

A little more room for your chops than the Signature FischLips.  This is great if you’ve been playing hard and happen to be swollen.  It also produces a little bigger sound that the Signature FischLips.
